According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the foreign ministers focused on the tense security situation and the ongoing military escalation in the region. The ministers highlighted the critical role of political dialogue and diplomatic channels in maintaining regional stability and preventing further escalation of tensions.
In light of the volatile situation, the ministers also deliberated on measures to ensure the safety of foreign nationals residing in the affected areas. They explored potential cooperation for the evacuation of Spanish citizens from Iran, utilizing Azerbaijan's border as a possible route for safe passage.
