Baku: Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Defense Industry Hidayat Azimov engaged in discussions with a Turkish delegation led by Hakan Karatas, the Deputy Secretary of Corporate Development and Talent Management of the Secretariat of Defence Industries. The Turkish delegation is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, focusing on the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concerning defense industry cooperation between the two countries.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing the legal and institutional frameworks necessary for collaboration based on the MoU. Both parties signed an implementation agreement outlining specific activities to foster this cooperation.

Further meetings took place between Hidayat Azimov, Hakan Karatas, and the leadership of the Trkiye-Azerbaijan University and the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), indicating a broader engagement in educational and industrial partnerships.
