Azerbaijan to Shut Down ‘e-Social’ App as Services Integrate into MyGov Platform

Baku: Azerbaijan is set to discontinue the 'e-Social' mobile application as its digital services are fully integrated into the 'mygov' platform. Targeted efforts are underway by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population to implement the 'Action Plan for 2026-2028 on accelerating digital development in the Republic of Azerbaijan,' as approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry is nearing completion of the integration of its digital services from the 'e-Social' app into the 'mygov' platform. This transition is expected to be finalized by the end of the month, with the 'e-Social' application ceasing operations on May 1. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population will be the first state body to integrate its e-services into the 'mygov' platform.

The move aims to prevent duplication of digital services and streamline them through the centralized 'mygov' platform. The Ministry has been a frontrunner in digitalizing public administration, having digitized over 90 percent of its services in recent years. Additionally, it has made more than 50 services proactive and was the first state body to migrate its information systems to the Government Cloud (G-cloud) infrastructure.
