Baku: Azerbaijani and Turkish companies may collaborate to develop joint products and technological platforms based on artificial intelligence, as discussed by Vurgun Hajiyev, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), during the "Azerbaijan-Trkiye Business Forum: Digital Transformation and Technology Bridge."
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Hajiyev emphasized the potential of combining the technological ecosystems of Azerbaijan and Trkiye, particularly in the fintech sector, to foster innovation. He pointed out the opportunity to adapt Turkish technology for the Azerbaijani market and the importance of establishing joint platforms. Collaboration with companies specializing in data governance, data engineering, and data science is identified as a priority.
The IDDA official also highlighted the necessity of sharing experiences with Trkiye and other Turkic states. He mentioned the importance of expanding the application of AI not only in higher education institutions but also in general education schools. Hajiyev stressed that a joint approach and coordinated cooperation are crucial for developing competitive artificial intelligence products on a regional scale.
