Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with a delegation led by Mustafa Murat Seker, Deputy Chairman of the Agency of Defense Industries under the Presidency of the Republic of Trkiye. This meeting was reported by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense to AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Minister of Defense expressed confidence that the joint defense industry projects being implemented by Azerbaijan and Trkiye would further strengthen the defense capabilities of their armed forces. Mustafa Murat Seker expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and emphasized the importance of such meetings in expanding military cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation, during its visit, also met with Azerbaijan's First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev. It was noted during these meetings that the enduring friendship and brotherly ties between the Azerbaijani and Turkish peoples contribute significantly to the steady advancement of bilateral military cooperation.

Both sides engaged in comprehensive discussions on the prospects for military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye. They also exchanged views on the application of artificial intelligence in satellite technologies, electronic warfare, unmanned systems, and other areas of mutual interest.
