Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Akin Grlek, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Trkiye, on July 2, APA reports. During the meeting, Akin Grlek expressed his gratitude for the reception and the hospitality extended to him and conveyed the greetings of President of Trkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Azerbaijani leader. President Ilham Aliyev thanked him for the greetings and requested that his own greetings be conveyed to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency,the Minister of Justice emphasized the development of bilateral relations based on common history, culture, and brotherhood. He attributed this progress to the sincere relations between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Trkiye. Akin Grlek highlighted the successful development of Azerbaijan under President Ilham Aliyev's leadership, noting the country's economic progress, increased international influence, and the historic Garabagh Victory.

The minister also emphasized Azerbaijan's significant role in strategic regional projects, particularly in energy, connectivity, and the Zangezur Corridor, and affirmed Trkiye's continued support for Azerbaijan. During their conversation, both sides praised the successful development of brotherly and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Trkiye, covering all areas. They also commended the effective partnership between the Ministries of Justice of the two countries and discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation.
