Istanbul: Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, met with Safi Arpagus, President of Trkiye's Directorate of Religious Affairs, to discuss enhancing cooperation in the religious sphere.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Safi Arpagus highlighted the historical significance of their meeting. Both leaders deliberated on mutual interests and explored avenues for expanding their collaboration. They also focused on preparations for the upcoming Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) meeting, set for September 2026.
