Baku: A Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening mutual cooperation in the insurance sector between Azerbaijan and Trkiye has been signed, the Central Bank told APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov received a delegation led by the Chairman of the Turkish Insurance and Private Pensions Regulation and Supervision Agency, Davut Mentes. During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening mutual cooperation in the insurance sector of both countries was signed. It was noted that this Memorandum will serve to promote cooperation and information exchange in the field of regulation and supervision in the insurance sector between the institutions.

“The Memorandum will make a significant contribution to deepening integration between the financial systems of the two brotherly countries, including the sustainable development of the insurance sector at the regional level,” Taleh Kazimov added.
