Baku: On July 2, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, convened with a delegation led by Mustafa Murat Seker, Deputy Chairman of the Agency of Defense Industries under the Presidency of the Republic of Trkiye, the Ministry of Defense informed APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency,the Minister of Defense expressed optimism that the ongoing joint defense industry projects between Azerbaijan and Trkiye would enhance the defense capabilities of their respective armies. He highlighted the importance of such collaborations in fortifying military strength.

Mustafa Murat Seker, in response, conveyed his gratitude to Colonel General Hasanov for the warm reception extended to the Turkish delegation. He underscored the significance of these meetings in deepening the military cooperation between the two allied nations.

The delegation also engaged with Colonel General Karim Valiyev, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army. Discussions during this meeting reaffirmed the role of the enduring friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Trkiye in facilitating the consistent progress of their military cooperation.

In both meetings, comprehensive dialogues were held regarding the prospects of advancing military collaboration. There was an exchange of views on the integration of AI in satellite technologies, electronic warfare, unmanned systems, and other mutual interests.
