Baku: Parviz Shahbazov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy, met with Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Trkiye, in Istanbul. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Shahbazov stated that the discussions centered around accelerating the implementation of key energy projects. These include the Azerbaijan (Nakhchivan)-Trkiye Energy Interconnector and the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Trkiye-Bulgaria Green Energy Corridor. Both ministers also explored potential cooperation within the framework of the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor.

The projects discussed are expected to significantly contribute to regional energy security and represent a collaborative effort to strengthen energy ties between Azerbaijan and Trkiye. This cooperation reflects a mutual commitment to advancing energy connectivity in the region.
