Baku:Mahir Mammadov, President of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, recently met with Enes Efendioglu, President of the Turkish Chess Federation, during the 2026 Chess Olympiad.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the leaders discussed enhancing chess cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey. Their discussions included organizing joint tournaments, training young chess players, and exchanging experiences.

As a gesture of goodwill, Mahir Mammadov presented a keepsake to Enes Efendioglu at the end of their meeting.
