Paris:The Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (AZSTAND) and the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) have formalized an Action Plan for 2026-2027 aimed at expanding their cooperation in standardization and exploring joint initiatives in emerging areas.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the agreement was reached during a meeting of AZSTAND and TSE representatives held on the sidelines of the annual International Organization for Standardization (ISO) meeting in Paris, France.
The Action Plan outlines collaboration in fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity management systems, halal certification, and greenhouse gas emissions management. It emphasizes the importance of these areas in addressing current challenges and priorities.
Key components of the plan include the exchange of experience and knowledge between the two institutions, organizing training sessions with specialists, and engaging in collaborative standardization activities.
