Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov recently held a meeting with Allaberdi Saparov, Chairman of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in sports, facilitating the exchange of expertise, and arranging mutual visits as part of the 'Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of sports between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan.'

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, both parties underscored their commitment to expanding cooperation through a working group visit to Baku, which is expected to bolster the existing relationship. As part of the visit, Allaberdi Saparov had the opportunity to tour the Baku Athletics Center, providing further insights into potential areas for collaboration.
