Baku: Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, met with Under Secretaries of U.S Commerce for Industry and Security William Kimmitt and Jeffrey Kessler. The sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing that Azerbaijan has a favourable investment environment.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, they also exchanged views on the development of the Middle Corridor and Zangezur corridor, as well as the imminent launch of the TRIPP project. The meeting focused on prospects for cooperation in the fields of digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity.

The Under Secretaries expressed their country’s readiness to support efforts to overcome existing difficulties in exporting US manufactured digital products to Azerbaijan.
