Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Declare Official Alliance


TASHKENT – Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have declared themselves official allies, as announced by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a joint press conference with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev described this alliance as a monumental event in international relations, marking a significant commitment between the two nations. He outlined the treaty on allied relations as the pinnacle of international agreements, underscoring that this new alliance will profoundly influence not only bilateral relations but also regional politics in the foreseeable future.
