Antalya: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov on April 19 during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ministers praised the dynamic development of Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations at the strategic partnership level. They discussed efforts to further enhance the friendly and fraternal ties between their countries.
The discussions included joint activities and projects aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, investment, transport, energy, culture, and humanitarian efforts. The importance of mutual support and collaboration within international and regional organizations, including the UN, the Organization of Turkic States, the Non-Aligned Movement, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, was also emphasized.
The meeting provided an opportunity for an exchange of views on regional developments and issues of mutual interest.
