Antalya: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, and Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeenbek Kulubaev, met on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum to discuss the ongoing cooperation and strategic partnership between the two nations. The discussions focused on both bilateral and multilateral cooperation agendas and the current regional situation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ministers praised the deepened friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, which have been elevated to a strategic partnership level through mutual trust and political dialogue. The role of the Interstate Council and the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation was emphasized in advancing their strategic partnership.

The meeting highlighted the multifaceted bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including political, economic, trade, investment, transport and communications, tourism, culture, and humanitarian areas. Both ministers underscored the importance of developing relations within regional and international organizations, particularly the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), and stressed the need for intensive contacts among OTS member states to fully exploit existing potentials.

The ministers also exchanged views on other mutual interests, including the security situation in the Middle East.
