Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Emphasize Role of OTS in Preserving Shared Heritage

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the significance of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as a vital association for preserving shared history and culture during an interview with the Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA). He remarked that both Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan see the OTS not only as a platform for interstate cooperation but as an important entity that ensures the continuity of their shared heritage and spiritual values.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev further elaborated on the contributions of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan to the OTS. He noted that their efforts in enhancing political dialogue, economic cooperation, and transport and logistics connectivity have played a crucial role in deepening the integration among Turkic states. Additionally, their cooperative endeavors in education, science, culture, and humanitarian affairs within the OTS framework are significant in fostering unity and collaboration among member states.
