Tashkent: Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan signed several significant documents on June 16, with the presence of both countries' Prime Ministers, Ali Asadov and Abdulla Aripov. The agreements were finalized during PM Ali Asadov's working visit to Uzbekistan, where he attended the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, following an invitation from the Uzbek side.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the signed documents include a project for the joint development of a gold deposit in Uzbekistan, which will involve AzerGold CJSC. Additionally, a banking collaboration was established between the International Bank of Azerbaijan OJSC and a corresponding Uzbek institution. Another agreement was reached for the joint development of critical minerals in Uzbekistan with the participation of NEQSOL Holding.
