Baku: The Chairman of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ismat Sattarov, held a meeting with the Uzbek delegation during the II Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum. The forum, themed “Digital Transformation and Media,” took place on September 29, 2025, as reported by the Audiovisual Council to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ismat Sattarov expressed his satisfaction with the event’s focus and emphasized its significance in strengthening ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. He highlighted the importance of the “Road Map” for developing media cooperation between the two countries, noting the rapid progress in relations between Azerbaijani and Uzbek media organizations, including broadcasters.

The head of the Uzbek delegation, Dilshod Saidzhanov, who serves as the Head of the Communication Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, shared his satisfaction with the strategic partnership between the nations. He pointed out the vast potential for joint media projects and stressed the role of mutual visits and exchanges of information and experience in enhancing relations.

The meeting concluded with discussions on various issues of mutual interest.
