Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Strengthen Media Cooperation at Bilateral Forum

Baku: A meeting was convened at the Media Development Agency (MEDIA) with an Uzbek delegation visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the II Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum. The Media Development Agency informed APA about this significant engagement.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, discussed the ‘Roadmap’ for fostering cooperation in the media sector between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. He highlighted the successful development of relations between the two nations across various fields, notably in the media sphere. Ismayilov emphasized the importance of mutual exchange of experience and information, joint project organization, and initiatives aimed at nurturing professional personnel to advance cooperation to a higher level.

Dilshod Saidzhanov, Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan and leader of the Uzbek delegation, underscored the strategic partnership between the two countries, which has brought significant progress in media development. He stressed the importance of intensifying information exchange and executing joint media projects. Saidzhanov noted that traditional media forums play a critical role in identifying new cooperation opportunities in the media sector and in jointly planning future objectives for the two brotherly nations.
