Baku: Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a phone conversation to discuss the allied relations between their countries, according to the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The discussion emphasized high-level mutual visits and the implementation of previously reached agreements. The ministers considered cooperation opportunities in various sectors, including trade, economy, investments, transport, and logistics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the conversation also involved discussions on collaboration within regional and international organizations such as the Organization of Turkic States and the UN.
