Azerbaijan and World Bank Explore Future Joint Projects

Baku: Prime Minister Ali Asadov met today with a delegation led by World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Rolande Pryce, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA. The meeting highlighted the existence of a long-term and effective partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, with jointly implemented projects contributing to the country's socio-economic development.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, discussions during the meeting focused on expanding cooperation in various sectors such as sustainable urban development, green energy, transport infrastructure, agriculture, water supply, and water resources management. Both parties emphasized the potential for further collaboration in these areas.

The meeting also explored prospects for developing a mutually beneficial partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, as well as future joint projects. Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, participated in the meeting, underscoring the importance of financial collaboration in these initiatives.
