Baku: Alimirzamin Gavvam oghlu Asgarov has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Kazakhstan. This appointment follows his recall from the same post in Tajikistan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order facilitating this diplomatic shift. Asgarov's new role in Kazakhstan comes as part of Azerbaijan's ongoing diplomatic assignments in the region.
