Baku: The expenditures of the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) for 2026 will be approved in the amount of 266,400,000.0 manats. This decision was made during the discussions at the Milli Majlis, the Azerbaijani Parliament, where the draft law ‘On the budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2026’ was reviewed.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the funding for these expenditures will come from two primary sources. The first source is the revenues generated by the Unemployment Insurance Fund’s 2026 budget, amounting to 238,300,000.0 manats. The second source is a sum of 28,100,000.0 manats, which will be allocated from the reserve that has been created as of January 1, 2026, specifically for financing the expenditures of 2026.

Following the discussions in the Milli Majlis, the draft law was put to a vote and successfully adopted in the second reading.
