Baku: The expenses of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) of Azerbaijan for 2026 will amount to 8,483,070,000 manats. This development was discussed during a session of the Milli Majlis, where the draft law ‘On the Budget of the State Social Protection Fund for 2026’ was reviewed.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the financing sources for these expenses include the revenues of the SSPF, which are projected to be 8,323,100,000 manats for 2026. Additionally, a sum of 159,970,000 manats will be allocated from the SSPF’s reserve, which had been formed by January 1, 2026, to cover the expenditures for the following year.

The draft law underwent discussions and was subsequently put to a vote, resulting in its adoption in the second reading.
