Azerbaijan Approves National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order approving the 2026-2030 National Action Plan on Combating Human Trafficking in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Under the Order, the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to address matters arising from the document, while the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been tasked with coordinating the implementation of the measures envisaged in the National Action Plan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is required to report to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan once a year on the implementation of the measures outlined in the National Action Plan. Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures envisaged in the National Action Plan will be carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication upon the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
