Azerbaijan Army Conducts Military Oath-taking Ceremonies for Young Soldiers

Ganja – Military Oath-taking ceremonies for young soldiers were held in the Azerbaijan Army on November 12, as part of the training plan for 2023 approved by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was reported by Trend, citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

According to Trend News Agency, The ceremonies commenced with the Battle Flag being brought to the parade ground, accompanied by a military orchestra. The event included a moment of silence to honor the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Shehids (Martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. This was followed by the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The young soldiers solemnly took the military oath, pledging loyalty to the Motherland. Representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the command staff of military units, and family members of the Shehids, as well as veterans and parents of soldiers, addressed the young soldiers. They urged the new recruits to remain loyal to the Motherland, state, and Commander-in-Chief, and to serve with discipline and excellence. They were also encouraged to master their weapons and equipment, enhance combat readiness, and be prepared to defend Azerbaijani lands.

The ceremony concluded with a solemn march of the military personnel in front of the podium to the sounds of a military march.
