Baku – The Azerbaijan Army convened a training-methodical session at the Training and Educational Center to discuss the current state and future reforms in material and technical support across various military branches and units.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the session, led by Major General Eldaniz Yahyayev, Acting Chief of the Main Department of Logistics at the Ministry of Defense, began with a tribute to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Following the national anthem, the assembly reviewed reports on the achievements and challenges faced in material and technical support over the current year.
Major General Yahyayev outlined the steps taken to enhance logistical support within the army and set forth the main objectives for the future. Discussions focused on improving the registration and operational management of new weaponry and equipment, ensuring their effective deployment, and preparing for the upcoming winter. The session also explored the integration of a new information system modeled after Turkish military logistics to centralize and streamline operations.
At the session’s conclusion, directives from the Defense Ministry leadership were issued to ensure ongoing advancement in the army’s logistical capabilities, aiming to maintain high standards of readiness and efficiency.
