Azerbaijan attends Anti-Doping Convention’s Monitoring Group meeting

Baku: An Azerbaijani delegation led by AMADA Executive Director Tahmina Taghizade has attended the 58th meeting of Monitoring Group of the Anti-Doping Convention (T-DO) held in Strasbourg, France. The event brought together anti-doping practitioners, researchers, officials and athletes to share and discuss emerging trends regarding to antidoping initiatives. The 58th T-DO meeting agenda included the approval of the 57th meeting's report, updating of Secretariat on signatures and ratifications, and adoption of the Strategy of the Monitoring Group of the Anti-Doping Convention (T-DO) and operational program for 2024-2027. The discussions revolved around the anti-doping measures regarding fitness centers and gyms, cooperation with foreign partners and the latest innovations in the participating states. The meeting also focused on the role of T-DO in updating the World Anti-Doping Program, as well as an action to protect minors in the anti-doping processes. Source: Azerbaijan State News Agency
