Azerbaijan-Belarus Ties Evolve Into Strategic Partnership

Baku: Azerbaijan-Belarus relations have now developed into a strategic partnership, as stated by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova during a joint statement with Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sergeyenko, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Igor Sergeyenko is currently on an official visit to Azerbaijan and is also representing Belarus at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum. He participated in the forum's opening ceremony yesterday, which underscores the current state of Azerbaijan-Belarus relations. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has remarked that these ties have proven resilient over time, and there is no doubt about the reliability of the friendship between Belarus and Azerbaijan. The relationship between the two countries is expanding in all areas, based on genuine friendship, constructive dialogue, mutual trust, and support, solidifying into a strategic partnership, Sahiba Gafarova emphasized.
