Azerbaijan Prioritizes Cultural Infrastructure Organization

Baku: "Azerbaijan places special importance on organizing cultural infrastructure," stated Saadat Yusifova, Deputy Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan, at an event titled 'UNESCO Creative Cities and Sustainable Urban Development.' The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and UNESCO, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Yusifova highlighted that international cooperation remains a priority for Azerbaijan. She emphasized that the ancient sites listed under UNESCO in Azerbaijan showcase the nation's culture. Furthermore, she pointed to the Heydar Aliyev Center and the 'White City' project as examples of the country's focus on innovation and sustainable development. In terms of cultural and digital development, Azerbaijan is taking various steps within the legal framework. The 2040 strategies have outlined new measures, particularly concerning the organization of creative industries. Additionally, the social development program for 2022-2026 is aimed at fostering inclusive competitiveness.
