BAKU — In response to the growing concerns about the mpox virus, Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee has announced the implementation of intensified preventive measures at all major entry points, including airports and border checkpoints.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, these enhanced protocols are designed to monitor and prevent the spread of the mpox virus through the nation’s borders. The measures are part of a broader effort to safeguard public health and ensure the virus does not gain a foothold within the country.
