Baku: The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) has announced the voter turnout for the municipal elections held today as of 12:00 PM. Farid Orujov, the head of the Information Center of the CEC Secretariat, stated that by 12:00 PM, 1,020,231 people had already cast their ballots nationwide, resulting in a voter turnout of 17.11%.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, earlier reports indicated that by 10:00 AM, 499,575 people had already voted, with a turnout of 8.35%. The municipal elections commenced at 08:00 AM and are scheduled to conclude at 19:00 PM. Throughout the day, the CEC Secretariat’s Information Center will provide updates on the voting process and preliminary results at 12:00, 15:00, 17:00, and 19:00. These preliminary updates are informational and do not carry legal significance.
