Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on the occasion of the upcoming Spring Festival, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Aliyev expressed his sincere congratulations to President Xi Jinping and the people of China, highlighting the cultural significance of the Spring Festival, also known as the Chunjie Festival. President Aliyev emphasized the festival’s symbolism of nature’s awakening and life’s renewal, wishing joy, prosperity, and well-being to the Chinese nation.

In his message, President Aliyev noted the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and China, underscoring the importance of their comprehensive cooperation founded on mutual trust and confidence. He expressed optimism about continuing joint efforts to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, aligning with the aspirations of their peoples.

President Aliyev concluded his letter by wishing President Xi Jinping good health, happiness, and success, along with continued peace and prosperity for the people of China.
