Baku:President Ilham Aliyev, Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), addressed the 8th Congress of YAP, marking the first time the congress has been held since Azerbaijan fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Aliyev highlighted the significance of this congress following Azerbaijan's achievements. He recalled the environment of the 7th Congress, which took place shortly after Azerbaijan's victory in the Second Garabagh War, a victory that garnered global attention.

Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan's efforts alone ended the occupation and established new regional realities. He noted that these changes have been recognized internationally since the country's victory in the conflict.
