Azerbaijan Collaborates with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on Green Energy Corridor

Turkmenbashi:Azerbaijan is partnering with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to establish a green energy corridor, as announced by President Ilham Aliyev during the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Central Asia.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the significant role of the energy sector in the collaboration between these nations. He emphasized Azerbaijan's critical position in facilitating the transit of energy resources from Central Asia to international markets, with oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan being transported through Azerbaijani territory.

The volume of these energy shipments is reportedly increasing, and the cooperation in renewable energy is expanding steadily. The joint effort with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan aims to further develop renewable energy initiatives through the creation of the green energy corridor.
