Baku: Azerbaijan may potentially host the next World Championship in fire and rescue sports, as revealed by Alexander Chupriyan, President of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers. This announcement was made during the 26th International Conference of the heads of fire-rescue services of member countries of the federation, held in Baku.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Chupriyan emphasized that the decision would be contingent upon the satisfactory state of the existing infrastructure in Azerbaijan. The sports facility planned for the championship will undergo a thorough inspection. Chupriyan stated that the final decision on the event’s location will be made next year following this evaluation.
