Baku: More than 25,000 participants are expected to attend the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Azerbaijan, according to Gulshan Rzayeva, Deputy Chief of Staff of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture and Deputy National Coordinator of WUF13. Rzayeva made the announcement during the 2nd Meeting of Heads of Mapping Institutions of the Organization of Turkic States.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Rzayeva highlighted that both local and international guests are anticipated to be present at the event. She remarked on the diversity of regional participation, noting that in previous forums, the largest number of participants came from Africa. She expressed hope that this trend of diverse regional representation continues, with countries actively taking part in the upcoming forum.
