Moscow: A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Goshgar Tahmazli, Chairman of the Food Safety Agency, is on a working visit to Russia to discuss increasing the export of agricultural products to the country. During the visit, Tahmazli met with Sergei Dankvert, Head of the Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia ('Rosselkhoznadzor').

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on plans to enhance agricultural exports from Azerbaijan to Russia this year and to streamline export procedures. The discussions also touched upon topics like electronic information and experience exchange, animal identification, combating dangerous animal diseases, and managing pesticide and agrochemical circulation.

Dankvert acknowledged Azerbaijan's expertise in these areas and expressed confidence in the continued development of the fruitful cooperation between the two institutions.
