On December 4, the first political consultations were held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba.

Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, and Elio Rodriguez Perdomo, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba led the political consultations.
