Baku: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, received the newly appointed military attach© of the Republic of Trkiye in Azerbaijan, Major General Ersin Din§er, Ministry of Defense told APA. The Minister extended a warm welcome to Major General Din§er and congratulated him on beginning his official duties in Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov highlighted that Azerbaijani-Turkish relations are built on the principles of friendship, brotherhood, and strategic alliance. He noted the ongoing strengthening of bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including the military sphere, and wished Major General Din§er success in further advancing this cooperation.

Major General Din§er expressed gratitude for the welcome and hospitality extended to him. He conveyed his pride in taking on his role as a military attach© in Azerbaijan and committed to working diligently to further military cooperation between the two nations.

The meeting also included the participation of Major General Gaffar G¶ren, who has completed his tenure as a military attach© in Azerbaijan. Discussions involved a comprehensive exchange of views on new prospects for cooperation in military, military-technical, and military-educational spheres, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
