Baku: Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry recently concluded a comprehensive training session involving reservists, as part of the ministry’s annual training plan. The session was conducted in collaboration with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, The training included enlightening talks for the reservists, where safety rules were communicated, and cultural events were organized to structure leisure time effectively. The practical classes, held at a specialized training center, provided participants with hands-on experience with small arms and military equipment used by special forces. The reservists were trained in the operational rules of these arms and participated in practical shooting exercises.
In line with the training program, tactical and reconnaissance classes were also integrated into the session. The reservists practiced tasks such as covert group movement, approaching enemy facilities, setting up ambushes, and conducting joint operations to seize imaginary enemy equipment and personnel. These exercises were designed to enhance the operational readiness and tactical skills of the participants.
