Azerbaijan Deploys Amphibious Aircraft to Aid Turkey in Wildfire Crisis

BAKU – Following the directive of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has sent a Be-200ChS amphibious aircraft to Turkey to assist in combating severe forest fires, APA has reported.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the deployment is part of a broader readiness effort, with additional fire and rescue forces on high alert. During consultations, while Turkey appreciated the offer, they requested only the aircraft at this stage, confirming their current needs are met with this support.
