Azerbaijan Establishes New State Fees for UAV Operations

Baku: New state fees related to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been established in Azerbaijan, APA reports. Recent amendments to the “Aviation Law,” approved by President Ilham Aliyev, outline these changes aimed at regulating UAV operations within the country.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the law stipulates a state fee of AZN 15 for issuing operator certificates to UAV operators, as well as for licenses, IDs, or certificates granted to aviation personnel. Furthermore, a fee of AZN 10 has been set for issuing registration certificates for unmanned aerial vehicles, operation permits for UAV operators, certificates for remote pilots, and permits for model UAV clubs or associations. These changes reflect Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to regulate the growing use of UAVs.
