Doha:Azerbaijan has engaged in discussions to enhance its cooperative efforts with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) concerning infrastructure projects. Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov shared this development through a post on his X account, as reported by APA-Economics.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the discussions took place on the sidelines of the 11th Annual Meeting of the AIIB in Doha, where Mikayil Jabbarov met with Zou Jiayi, the President of the Bank.
During the meeting, Azerbaijan highlighted the significant value it places on its partnership with AIIB, being a founding member of the institution. The conversation focused on the Bank's role in promoting infrastructure development, sustainable growth, the green transition, and renewable energy within its member countries.
Furthermore, the dialogue included exploring opportunities to expand collaboration on projects aimed at fostering economic growth, developing sustainable infrastructure, and enhancing connectivity throughout Asia.
