Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Addresses Increase in Trkiye-Armenia Flights

Baku: Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, has stated that the increase in flights from Trkiye to Armenia was anticipated and that Azerbaijan was informed in advance. During a press conference dedicated to the year's results, Bayramov emphasized the strong alliance between Azerbaijan and Trkiye, describing Trkiye as a brotherly state to Azerbaijan and highlighting the unparalleled relations between the two countries.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bayramov mentioned that the relations between Azerbaijan and Trkiye are rooted not only in historical ties but also in the sincere relationship between the leaders of both nations. He pointed out that Trkiye has consistently supported Azerbaijan, especially in its sensitive relations with Armenia. Bayramov noted that after the 44-day Patriotic War, a normalization process between Trkiye and Armenia was carried out through coordinated actions, which has been yielding positive results.

Bayramov also referred to a statement by his counterpart, Hakan Fidan, at the Grand National Assembly of Trkiye, asserting that the relations between Armenia and Trkiye are contingent upon Azerbaijan's relations with Armenia. He expressed confidence that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye would continue in the future. Additionally, he reiterated that the increase in flight numbers from Trkiye to Armenia was not a surprise to Azerbaijan, as they were already informed about it.
