Baku: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Trkiye, and Bulgaria are holding talks on the creation of an overland electricity transit corridor, Georgia's Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Inga Pkhaladze said, APA's local bureau reports. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the new initiative will ensure the delivery of electricity from any interested country, primarily neighboring countries, to Europe via Georgia. The deputy minister highlighted that this initiative holds significant economic importance. It will not only facilitate electricity transit but also enable Georgia to export its own electricity. This development is expected to support local businesses and contribute to the growth of Georgia's energy sector.
