Baku: Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), recently met with Michael Harms, Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, to discuss enhancing economic ties between Azerbaijan and Germany.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Abdullayev emphasized Azerbaijan's investment climate, strategic connectivity, and potential in transport and logistics during the meeting. Both parties identified opportunities for Azerbaijani and German companies in green energy, industry, and technology transfer.

The discussions included the possible establishment of an Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council. This platform aims to facilitate ongoing dialogue between entrepreneurs from both countries, promote information exchange, and support joint initiatives.

The German delegation was also invited to participate in upcoming events in Baku, such as the Private Sector Forum in June and the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum in September. These events are anticipated to showcase Azerbaijan's investment opportunities and further solidify Azerbaijani-German business relations.
