Baku: Azerbaijan's gold production witnessed a decline in January 2026, with the country producing 207.8 kilograms of gold. This production level marks a 12.2% decrease compared to the same period last year. Additionally, silver production also experienced a reduction, totaling 329.8 kilograms, which represents a 12% fall from the previous year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee reported that as of February 1, 2026, Azerbaijan's finished product reserves included 103.6 kilograms of gold and 550.4 kilograms of silver. In the preceding year, 2025, Azerbaijan's production figures were significantly higher, with 2,965.1 kilograms of gold and 3,646 kilograms of silver produced.
These statistics reflect a notable change in Azerbaijan's precious metals production landscape, underscoring fluctuations in output levels that could impact the country's economic forecasts and industry strategies moving forward.
